Brothers Rick and Jeff Frankfurt
We've been attending auctions for 30 plus years and have relationships with reputable buyers throughout the Midwest. It is all about the hunt. I originally started doing auctions to get rid of my surplus items. Now Anamosa Auction receives several calls a week from those wanting us to sell their items - from one item to entire estates..
On our March auction we had the original AMI Juke box from Dewey's tavern in Anamosa. It brought down the gavel at $2900.
Singer Feather weight $350, curved glass china cabinet brought the gavel down a $750. Horse head hitching post from the Brucemore in Cr brought $900 for the pair.
To our consignors: At Anamosa Auction Company we will do our best to represent and sell your items. However, it is an auction and sometimes things do not sell as well as we would like them too. We do not advertise in the papers with large flashy ads but a smaller ad referring our buyers to go to auctionzip. If we would do big ads we would have to pass the cost on to you cutting into your profit. Thanks Rick
